Festicket Trips

Festicket provides users with a one-stop shop for booking festival experiences to destinations all over the world. As well as offering user’s a “build your own” experience, they also wanted to offer bundled options curated personally by our in-house experts, saving people time and effort when browsing.

My Role

Lead Product Designer

The Problem

The old design was not built with scalability in mind. Meaning the more products added to a bundle, the harder it is to digest the information.

Our Goals

To completely redesign the Bundles page to be able to manage the new cases that the company wants to offer.

Affinity Mapping & Wireframing

To get started, we firstly took a look at the content we have and the functionality supported coupled with new content we now had access to. We grouped the content and sections in parent groups to help us in communicating with the rest of the team. From there we were able to get everyone on board with the concept and move to wireframing where we explored the use of itineraries to help us find the right structure.

Creating a better first impression

We wanted our users to get more of an idea of what the festival and overall experience will be like by incorporating more imagery at the top of the page, thankfully Festicket has many different options for imagery.

A clear view of what’s included

Going by our set goal, we knew this would be a major part of the redesign so we spent quite a bit of time trying different versions to see which worked best with our users and our stakeholders.

Making the important info stand out

We knew people were scrolling on the page from recorded heatmaps we had on hotjar so we wanted to use this to our advantage by spreading out the most important information so it’s easier for the user to take in.
